It
Could Have Been Worse!
Although
the cast might disagree, the “Food Relay” actually could have
been even nastier than it ended up, if Sean and Courtenay had been able
to find their original “grocery list” of nasty foods! Two
items they didn’t find that COULD have been the delight of one of
the cast…Jabanero (red-hot) peppers and head cheese. And we thought
the hurling was bad as it was. Another delicacy they decided against…a
jar of horse radish. A lady at the Winn-Dixie told them it would be too
mean to make someone down that!
So what did Courtenay think was the most unsettling food? “I thought going in the pig brains and the butter would be the toughest to get down.” Not a bad prediction. As for who she was most impressed with in the competition? “I was impressed with Cameron, the way he jumped in and ate so many different things, and little Fallon downing that entire jar of Spam all by herself.” According to Courtenay, the nastiest moments were watching Cameron and Jake spew back into the barf bucket. “With Jake it seemed like it was coming back out of every orifice in his face.”
UC’s
First Virtue Vote
The
Virtue Vote is new to UC this year, with four more votes to come over
the coming episodes. It’s interesting that the winner of the first
vote for respect was overwhelmingly Jessica, even though she admits to
struggling at times with her self image (more to come in the coming weeks).
It’s pretty apparent though that her cast mates think the world
of her, judging by the Virtue Vote and the following short impressions
of her:
Denita: “Jessica is loving and is always ready to listen and be a sincere friend.”
Will: “Jessica’s a solid person, who is very mature and will succeed.”
Fallon:
“Jessica is a caring and open-minded girl who is fun and mature
at the same
time .”
Brett:
“Jessica- A girl who loves the Lord and will change lives someday.”
Jess Gets “Respectful”
After getting the nod for the “Respect” virtue vote, we put Jessica to the test. How does she “respectfully” describe each of her fellow cast members?
Brett- A really funny, nice, humble guy who is really living for God and reflects his love for Him through the way he, not only talks, but carries himself.
Denita- An awesome, sweet, beautiful, and personable friend who has big dreams, knows what she thinks, and is not afraid to say it.
Will- A down to earth, hilarious and honest, great all- around guy who is not afraid to say what he believes, and genuinely cares for others.
Casey- An outgoing, athletic girl who is completely living life to its fullest and who is either always laughing or making others laugh.
Fallon- The ultimate example of a girl who is confident, knows just what she believes, has her life and dreams on a string, and will do whatever it takes to fulfill those dreams.
Jake- A great, athletic guy who always makes me laugh and has a good, genuine heart for others.
Cameron- The funniest person I have ever met, yet he is an honest and sincere guy who really has a lot to offer the world.
