What Did We Get Ourselves Into???
Unlike a year ago on ULTIMATE CHOICE when the Tahoe cast knew in advance every adventure they would be taking, this year’s Florida cast came in knowing absolutely nothing about their adventure ahead.

As you saw in Episode 1, that obviously started with being obnoxiously awakened early in the morning and given no time to prepare for their upcoming. So what was all of that uncertainty like? Here’s what Denita thought… “I was very excited but as the time for the shooting and trip approached I was nervous because I had no idea what I was getting myself into!! Everything became a secret, my mom knew everything that I was doing and I was clueless! That can be bad on your nerves!”

And trust us, the surprises will continue on throughout the season. Wait til you see what happens to them one other early morning about 5am!!!

Unforgettable Experience: “UC Chicks” Speak Out
So when you add up all the expectations, the surprises, and then ultimately the exhilaration of everything the UC FLORIDA cast got to do, what was it REALLY like being a cast member?. We posed that question to the self-proclaimed “UC Chicks” and got the inside scoop on how they feel about the UC experience.

What was awesome about being on UC and what freaked you out about the whole thing?

Jessica: “I definitely had my apprehensions, because I am a very self-conscious person and it takes me a while to open up to people (and cameras) because of my insecurities!
The confidence that I saw in so many of the cast members really taught me how important it is to believe in yourself, because overcoming your doubts can help you overcome any trial you ever face! In the end UC has proven to be the most enriching, fulfilling activity I have ever participated in!"

Fallon: “The best thing about being on UC was competing in extreme sports. It was awesome getting to test myself in just about everything I could think of. What was the worst thing?...I would have to say the fights. I can’t stand fighting, but I don’t have a lot of patience. So, fighting was almost unavoidable for me with 7 very different teenagers who I had just met."

Kasey: “I enjoyed getting to know so many wonderful people and sharing my life experiences with them. (I hope something I shared can help other teens too!) The absolute worst thing for me was when I shared my personal life with the world. I knew that almost all of the people that would hear what I have to say would not know me and I do not know how they will judge me."

Denita: “The best thing about being a UC cast member is that I had experiences that some would die for! I got to spend time with 7 great people (not ignoring the awesome hosts, camera, sound, and photo crews! I love you guys too.) and express my thoughts and feelings. UC has been the best experience of my life! The worst thing about being a cast member is that you are on TV where everyone can judge you and you may not be able to defend yourself. I have no control over how I am portrayed or how I am perceived.”
